From 24th August 2014, the Immigration Dept temporarily has stopped granting 6 months multiple visa. Therefore the maximum length you can apply is a 3 months multiple visa.

We arrange visa upon arrival at the airport for those entering Vietnam by air and wish to get visa at the airport. Therefore your visa must be picked up at the airport. You should contact Vietnamese embassy to get visa if you do not enter Vietnam by air. You must have pre-approved letter from Vietnam Immigration Department that allow you to pick up your visa upon arrival to Vietnam at the airport. Without this letter you can not board the airplane and get visa when you arrive. When you arrive at the airport of Vietnam, you will see "LANDING VISA" counter before you check-in, come to the "Landing visa" counter, show the pre-approved letter for checking on the system then wait for your visa stamped on your passport.

The VietNam visa photo size requirement is 4 x 6 cm but it’s not so strict at all. Therefore, a bit smaller or larger one can be accepted.

There are two kinds of Vietnam visa fees that you have to pay to get visa on arrival to Vietnam, including visa service fee and visa stamping fee:     1. Service fee: Visa service fee is the amount that the applicant have to pay in advance for service during a Vietnam visa online processing from receiving and checking the applicant's personal information to collecting the pre-approval visa letter from the Vietnam Immigration Department and sending it to applicant in order to get their visa stamped at the Vietnam Airports (Hanoi, HoChiMinh, Danang) when arriving.     2. When having this approval letter, you need to print it out for boarding airplane. The police officer in the airport in your country will check it and allow you to board the plane. (Those who do not have the visa approval letter will be not allowed for boarding). The "Visa approval letter" is a letter issued by Vietnam Immigration Department that allows you to enter and exit Vietnam for a given time period. With the approval letter, you can pick up your visa upon arrival at one of the three International Airports in Vietnam (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang). At the airport, the corresponding authority will verify the details on the approval letter based on your passport and travel documents. As long as you make sure you input the correct details when applying, you will surely be granted entry upon arrival in Vietnam with the approval letter.  

In most cases, an online visa application does not require a passport scan. If the Immigration office wants to verify the information you provide, you must send them a scanned copy of your passport. In such cases, we will immediately notify you via email.
