How many kinds of Vietnam visa are there?
Based on the Vietnam visa regulations introduced on July 1, 2020, there are six popular categories of Vietnam visas:
- Tourist visa (DL)
- Business visa (DN1, DN2)
- Student/internship visa (DH)
- Investor Visa (DT1, DT2, DT3, DT4)
- Working visa (LD1 – LD2)
- Diplomatic visa (NG)
For international passport holders planning to visit Vietnam for tourism, they have the option to apply for a Vietnam e-Visa, also known as a Vietnam tourist visa. The e-Visa grants a single entry authorization, allowing a stay of up to 30 days.
The Vietnam e-Visa is suitable for various purposes such as travel, attending conferences, and visiting friends or family. The application process is straightforward, requiring the completion of an online form that usually takes about 20 minutes. However, it is essential for the applicants to carefully review Vietnam's visa requirements before applying to avoid any misunderstandings or delays.
